6 PANELED WATERCOLOR PAINTED, SCREEN H 7', L 7' 9":Screen is comprised of six panels. Each panel is 7" high and 15 1/2" in length. The screen is painted, watercolor on paper, depicting a Japanese scene with 6 geishas in a lush garden with cranes. Some of the geishas are holding fans while others are playing musical instruments. The colors are pastel which helps in depicting the painted scene as very graceful. Circa early 20th century. The screen is not signed by the artist. The condition of the screen is good. There are no tears.
