Deeply carved shell form crest over fiddle splat back. Cabriole legs having shell carved knees and deeply carved ball and claw feet. Legs joined by turned "H" form stretchers. Having a seat height of 16.25". Provenance: Ginsberg & Levy Inc..; Dr. and Mrs. Harold Roehm, Bloomfield Hills, MI c.1965. By family descent to current owner. Included with this lot is the original Ginsberg & Levy Receipt dated February 2, 1965.
