A GROUP OF PROPS FROM "BEN-HUR":A group of five (5) props from "Ben-Hur". Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1959. Comprised of three leather costume hats, one with neck protection, and two leg irons. Hat: height 6 1/2". Irons: length 23". Provenance: David Weisz Co., MGM Auction and Tag Sale, 1970.
Condition
The felt on the interior of the leg irons is worn. The metal on the leg irons shows wear and discoloration. The leather caps all appear to have been painted, and there is loss on all three caps. One of the hats has a foam insert which is hardened and crumbling due to age. All three hats have isolated small holes (MK).
