Condition

Canvas has been trimmed with a 19th century reline. Overall masking varnish fluoresces under UV light. Overpaint at the windows on the right side of the composition, in the grass and at the water trough in the center. Any other conservation work has been obscured by the varnish. | Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
