The etching is pencil signed, Achille Jacquet, in the lower right corner of the margin. At the top of the etching in the margin, it states, Copyright "1898" by C. Klacker, 7 West 28th St. New York. Published by C. Klackner, 12 Haymarket, London. Printed by Ch. Willmann, Paris. Under the image at the center, it states William Schaus, 204 Fifth Avenue, New York. The etching is after Jean-Louis-Ernst Meissonier, " Lovers of Painting", and depicts 18th-century gentlemen conferring in an artist studio. At the center of the bottom margin, there is an etched image of a soldier on a horse. Matted and framed. The image size is 13" x 10.5" and the frame size is 24" x 19".
