AFTER ANTOINE LOUIS BARYE (1765-1875) BRONZE ANIMALIER FIGURE H 8 3/8' W 17 1/4' D 4' "TIGRE QUI MARCHE":After Antoine Louis Barye (French, 1765-1875). "Tigre Qui Marche". A finely cast bronze animalier figure of a walking tiger. Incised "Chevalier Oscar" and "07" to naturalistic base. Also having "A Rene Lesage" incised to side of base and "L.O.C." incised to underside.

Condition

With rubbing throughout, especially to top of tiger. Areas of wear to patina, especially by incised "A Rene Lesage". With marks and scratches consistent with age and use, in good condition overall.
