A carved marble bust after Jean-Antoine Houdon's 1780 sculpture titled "Diana." The bust measures H 20" x W 15" x D 8". The marble pedestal measures H 43.5" x W 11.75" x D 11.75". The bust offers 'HOUDON' engraved to the backside base. Provenance: Property of a Bloomfield Hills, Michigan private collector.
Condition
One tip edge of the hairpiece is chipped and has resulting losses. The pedestal base and top surface have small chips and resulting losses.
