Half length, in ceremonial armor, blue and white sash. Shield formed label- REDHEFFER & KOCH, St. Louis Missouri, on verso, top of stretcher bar. 19th c. gilt carved wood filigree frame. Unsigned. Stretcher inscribed on verso: Painted by Mrs. Joel Hart, Rome, 1880". Cardboard backing with label expressing what is written on the stretcher.
