A luminous, richly inked impression on laid paper, probable Meder a, with visible areas of plate tone and some horizontal scratches consistent with earlier impressions, inscribed on verso in brown ink 'P. Mariette 1698' (L. 1790), trimmed to or just inside the platemark. (Bartsch 100, Meder 97) Frame measures H 16" x L 13".
