The Dream of the Doctor (Temptation of the Idler), Signed in the plate with the artist's monogram lower center, trimmed to or just inside the borderline, matted. An excellent, evenly printed impression, showing fine contrast throughout. There is a scratch in the plate extending from the standing figures left foot, the paper is a heavier laid paper, possibly a copy or later impression. Condition
Very small spot of foxing seen in the far LR; no margins - trimmed to or just inside the image - no platemark or filet; paper seems overall slightly darkened (see photos). Tape remains verso.
