An excellent, evenly printed impression, showing fine contrast throughout. There is a scratch in the plate extending from the standing figures left foot, the paper is a heavier laid paper, possibly a copy or later impression. Literature: Bartsch 76; Meder, Hollstein 70; Schoch Mende Scherbaum 18 Very small spot of foxing seen in the far LR; no margins - trimmed to or just inside the image - no platemark or filet; paper seems overall slightly darkened (see photos). Tape remains verso.
