Having a gilt eagle head pommel with serrated knuckle bow and counter guard. Reeded bone grip. 1/2 blued steel blade decorated with etched gilt designs of crossed arms and liberty cap. Marked "Warrented" at the ricasso. Blade length 28". This sword was published in "American Swords Book" Phillip Medicus. From the collection of Philip Medicus, 1956. Includes leather and brass scabbard.
