Condition
As viewed under UV light in the unopened frame: turns partially green and therefore a complete or accurate UV analysis is not possible, however there is no overpainting in the head but there could possibly be as much as c. 30 to 35% overpainting in the bottom 2/3 of the painting in the figure - the painting needs to be cleaned in order to find out; only slight craquelure; not lined or patched; period or original gilt frame with losses, chips and cracks.
