ANTIQUE GESSO FRAME, H 46", W 33":Frame is gilt with a floral and acanthus leaf motif throughout. From The George and Penny Simon Collection, Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan.
Condition
There is a 6" long chip at the upper right edge of the frame. There are approx. 4 areas where the gesso has been restored. The interior frame height is 32 1/2", the interior width is 20", and the rabbet measurement is 1/4".
