APSLEY PELLATT, SULPHIDE CUT GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE, C. 1830S, H 4" W 3 1/4":A round etched and cut body with an encased sulphide portrait of Leonardo Da Vinci in profile. With cut stopper.
Condition
There is a chip on the top of the stopper to one of the teeth at the edge, and there are a couple tiny chips to the base of the stopper. On the graduated step section of the neck, there is one 1/8" chip and approx. 4 tiny flea bites. There are a few very small chips to the body, but they are not very noticeable. Overall, this is a beautiful piece, and the condition is commensurate with age and use.
