A 1928 oil on panel by Arthur Vidal Diehl. Depicting a farmer with two-horse plough. Artist's signature and date to the lower left. Bearing a Marshall Field & Company paper label to the verso. Frame measures H 9" x L 11.25". English impressionist landscape artist. Diehl was born in London, England, but for most of his career, he lived in Provincetown, Massachusetts, United States where he painted Old World and New World landscapes.
