ASIAN POLYCHROME BRONZE INCENSE BURNER & COVER, H 11 1/2", L 8 3/4":A two piece incense burner, in the form of a figure holding a lotus flower riding an elephant, the figure acting as the lid with pierced areas of decoration. With remnants of paint throughout. Having a hollow center. No apparent marks.
With wear to patina at the top, where the figure is set into the elephant. Some wear to decoration on the elephant side in the form of rubbing. With loss to original paint throughout.
