Provenance: Originally hung in the John Hopkins Club, Baltimore. Alex Cooper Auction, Towson, MD, in 2021. Two impact punctures to the left of the figure. Overall varnish fluoresces under UV light. Stable craquelure. Losses to the pigment at the edges where the frame meets canvas.
