Unsigned oil on canvas 1/2 length portrait of a gentleman. Attribution plaque at the lower center of the frame. Giltwood frame having a height of 35.5" and a width of 30". Provenance: Originally hung in the John Hopkins Club, Baltimore. Alex Cooper Auction, Towson, MD, in 2021.

Condition

Two impact punctures to the left of the figure. Overall varnish fluoresces under UV light. Stable craquelure. Losses to the pigment at the edges where the frame meets canvas.
