On tapered fluted legs with lower stylized x-form support. A French émigré with shops in Paris and New York, Léon Marcotte was one of the most sought-after professional decorators and cabinetmakers during the mid-nineteenth century. Condition

Four light water rings with scattered light scratching to the top due to use.
