An oblong platter having black and white transfer decoration titled "Newbury, Hudson River", depicting a horse-drawn wagon by a bend in the river with mountains in background, surrounded by a floral and scrolled foliate border. From the "Picturesque Views" series. With printed title and impressed maker’s marks on the reverse. 15 ¾" x 13". With some minor yellow discoloration to platter visible on both sides, a couple minor chips to rim, and light surface wear and scratching. Overall in good used condition
