BOSS & CO. 12 GA. SIDE BY SIDE, SHOTGUN, #5305, WITH FITTED LEATHER CASE, 1905, L 28" BBL:Boss & Co side by side shotgun having been re-stocked and refurbished and having blued barrels, 28" L with front bead sight. Both barrels have 'invisible sleeves', 30 thousandths thick, plus wall thickness, by Boss, in London, England . 'Boss Best' side lock engraved with floral and leaf designs and inscribed: "Boss's Patent" and "Boss & Co." on both sides of lock. Single trigger with a length of pull of 14 1/4". Having an 'Exhibition Grade' English Walnut straight stock with checkered wrist, butt and checkered splinter forearm, made by Nick Makinson, London, Ontario. Originally one of three shotguns in a set, with this firearm having gold inlays inscribed: '3' on barrel release lever and front of splinter forearm on blued forearm release mechanism. Includes a fitted leather case with straps, hickory two piece cleaning rod, two dummy shells and bottle of gun oil.
