Curved blade with a ricasso marked "MOLE BIRMn". Robert Mole & Sons produced swords and bayonets for the British War Office, Admiralty and the Government of India. Having bone grips, vine design engraved hilt and guard. Silver sword knot appears to be newer. Includes a stitched black leather scabbard with metal scrolling vine etched throat, middle band and tip.
