The flasks include one faceted form with lion (England), anchor (Birmingham), and date mark 'X' (1920) in cartouche with 'JBC&S Ld' (J.B. Chatterley & Sons Ltd.) in separate adjacent cartouche. The second flask offers partially registered hallmarks at the shoulder of the flask, and features a chased golfing design. Total weight: 8.9 troy ounces. Circa 1920. Provenance: Collection of James A. Brescoll, Bloomfield Hills, MI.

Condition

The golf motif flask has dents and dimples throughout the bottle and cap. With areas of stubborn tarnish.
