BURMESE BRONZE BUDDHIST TEMPLE BELL, H 34", DIA 16":The support mounts, attached above a stylized lotus design appearing on the bell's shoulder, take the form of two figures from Burmese folklore, possibly nagas, surrounded by waves, surmounting the suspension loop cast to represent two manothiha. On the bell's body are various inscriptions. Stand H 53" x D 21". With wear to patina throughout. Some corrosion and rust, mostly visible on the bell support mounts.
