Mask in the form of ram with two curling horns and a large open mouth, and a dark patina. Large animal masks were common during many masquerades in the Grassfelds region of Cameroon. This mask may be attributed to the peoples of this region, which include the Bamileke, Bamun, and Tikar peoples. Provenance: Property from a Bloomfield Township, MI private collection.
