CARL MULLER OIL ON CANVAS, H 25", L 30", GRAND CANAL:Carl Müller [Austrian, 1862-1938]. The oil on canvas depicts the Grand Canal of Venice with vessels and people on the shore. Signed lower left C Muller. Framed. Findlay Galleries, Chicago label on the verso. As viewed under UV light in the unopened frame: UV clean; canvas is lined and has been cut out and mounted onto the lining canvas; some stable craquelure; frame has some wear and a crack.
