CARVED ALABASTER BUST AND PEDESTAL, 2 PIECES, H 9", W 4 1/2":A carved bust of Dante wearing a leafy Roman crown, atop a flared pedestal base. From The George and Penny Simon Collection, Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan.
The man is in good condition, the base has a 1/2" chip at the bottom. The bust is loose from the base.
