Charles Field Haviland Porcelain Game Bird Plates & Tray, For Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel (Limoges) C. 1860, 7 pcs A collection of six mid-19th century porcelain plates and one matching rectangular tray by Charles Field Haviland (American, 1832-1896) for Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel. Offers a hand-painted woodland pheasant motif to the basins, accented with gold trim. Each bearing signature branding to the undersides. From the collection of Dr A. Michael Prus and Judith Prus, Grosse Pointe Farms.
When viewed under natural light, one small chip was observed to the edge of the tray. In lightly used condition, if at all. Gilding is bright.
