CHINESE BLACK LACQUERED BOX, H 6 3/4", W 25", D 8":Having a hinged lid with metal latch and handles, decorated with dancing figures. From the Estate of Daniel Clancy, Voltaire Place, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI.
There are age cracks in the lacquer. There are repairs to all bottom corners and to 2 edges. Two of the hinges on the lid have become detached from the base. There are noticeable cracks in the lacquer at the left, front side edge. The interior is leather lined, the leather is dry. TW 1-24-17
