Having cloud bands, with wide borders. Dragon motif wraps around the vessel's exterior - a symbol often associated with power and good fortune within Chinese mythology. Marked to underside 大明嘉靖年製 - Da Ming Jiajing Nian Zhi - 'Made in the Great Ming dynasty during the reign of the Jiajing Emperor'. Provenance: Property from a Troy. Mi private collector.
