CHINESE CARVED WOOD, MARBLE AND MOTHER OF PEARL ARM CHAIR, H 41"' L 22.5":Featuring an inlaid marble seat and disc on the back splat, overall pierced design with mother of pearl floral insets.
Condition
Both of the arms have been repaired at the bottom front, where they meet the seat of the chair. There is wood filler in these areas approx. 2" long and 1" wide. There is noticeable wear to the finish at the top of the armrest indicative of age and use. The marble seat has multiple scratches. There are approx. 9 areas with mother of pearl loss at the back of the chair, ranging is size from 1 1/2" to 1/4". At the front apron, below the seat, and at the legs there are approx. 7 areas of mother of pearl loss, approx. 1/4" in size. The chair is sturdy. TW 4-27-17
