Chinese Cloisonne Bowls, C. 1900, H 3.75'' Dia. 6.5'' 1 Pair A pair of circa 1900 Chinese cloisonne bowls. Each offers a repetitious biomorphic form rim and base with chevrons to the bodice. Interior rim has sage green enamel. No maker's marks or artist's signatures observed. With base, measures H 6" overall. Provenance: Private Collection, Boston-Edison District, Detroit, MI (40-year resident of the Boston-Edison Ford House)
Oxidation to the interior basin with resulting veridgris. One base is missing one leg.
