Chinese Enameled Celadon Porcelain Plates, 18th C., Dia. 8'' 1 Pair A pair of 18th century Chinese enameled celadon porcelain plates. On a celadon glaze ground, hand-painted phoenix, insect and butterfly, and fruit motifs in enamel to the basin. Each bearing artist's marks to the underside under glaze.
From the collection of Dr A. Michael Prus and Judith Prus, Grosse Pointe Farms.
When viewed under natural light, no chips, cracks, and/or conservation efforts were observed. Negligible wear to enamel decoration.
