Chinese Enameled Celadon Porcelain Plates, 18th C., Dia. 8'' 1 Pair A pair of 18th century Chinese enameled celadon porcelain plates. On a celadon glaze ground, hand-painted phoenix, insect and butterfly, and fruit motifs in enamel to the basin. Each bearing artist's marks to the underside under glaze. From the collection of Dr A. Michael Prus and Judith Prus, Grosse Pointe Farms.

Condition

When viewed under natural light, no chips, cracks, and/or conservation efforts were observed. Negligible wear to enamel decoration. Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
