CHINESE PLIQUE-A-JOUR COVERED COMPOTE, H 7" DIA 6 1/8":A footed dish and cover, both with silver rims, and both having translucent enamel framed with silver wire depicting flowers and foliage. Total height 7", diameter 6 1/8".
With pin-hole sized deposits of a light substance to the exterior of the cover. A light layer of dust and grime covers the item, and there are light scratches to the surface throughout.
