CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN BOTTLE COOLER WITH BRONZE MOUNTS, EARLY 19TH C., H 6 3/4", DIA 6":A round porcelain bottle cooler, or ice pail, with notched rim, enameled floral sprays about in shades of purple, green, puce, yellow and orange, flanked by bronze branch-form handles on a bronze base. No apparent markings. Measures H.6 3/4", W.8" to the handles. One handle is lacking a screw, and handles are probably replacements as there is a 1" area just under each handle which suggests a loss (see additional photo). Wear to the bronze patina.
