Chinese Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) Porcelain Vase, C. 1870, H 10'' Dia. 5'' A Chinese Qing Dynasty era bottle neck porcelain vase. Offers hand-painted enamel birds to the neck with birds under foliage to the bodice in cobalt. Bearing a six-character mark to the underside under glaze. With base, measures H 13.5" overall. Provenance: Private Collection, Boston-Edison District, Detroit, MI (40-year resident of the Boston-Edison Ford House)
Condition
When viewed under natural light, a small chip DIA 1/4" was observed at the lip of the vase. Otherwise, no losses or visible abrasions observed.
