There are multiple large threads that are loose. These threads are from the tail feathers of the birds. These threads define the center border of the tail feathers. The fine silk threads in the leaves in the central design, and in the clouds along the tapestry border, are significantly worn, with many areas showing wear to the silk material underneath. This wear is throughout the tapestry. There is wear to the trim at the bottom edge of the border. Tapestry also has areas of fading.
