Each of the three items of the tea set has 'CLARK & COIT - NEW YORK' stamped to the undersides. The tea set is made by hand. The teapot measures H 11" x W 6.5" x L 12". The covered sugar measures H 10" x W 6" x L 10". The creamer measures H 7.5" x W 5" x L 7". The non-matching silver plated tray measures W 12.5" x L 23". Total weight of the Clark & Coit set: 75.56 troy ounces. Circa 1850. Provenance: Property of a Grosse Pointe Park, MI private collector.

Condition

The Clark & Coit tea set is monogrammed 'AVP'. The silver plated tray is monogrammed 'AMW'. With areas of stubborn tarnish and small points of denting.
