Country French Walnut Open Front Table, 19th C, H 27'' W 22'' A 19th century country French walnut open front table. Offers a scalloped apron, open shelf, and star form cut-outs to the side panels. Terminating on slightly curved and tapering. 19th century peg construction. Depth 16". From the collection of Dr A. Michael Prus and Judith Prus, Grosse Pointe Farms.
With old nicks and dings throughout the legs, feet, and surface. With water staining and losses to varnish to the tabletop surface. Evidence of old woodworm damage to the tabletop surface.
