DRESDEN PORCELAIN CENTERPIECE, EARLY 20TH C., H 13 1/2", W 10 1/2":Early 20th century. Of elliptical form, the bowl with a central polychrome floral spray and painted gilt accents throughout, with applied flowers and foliage to exterior, supported by four polychrome putti wearing loin cloths. Having a blue underglaze Dresden mark for Carl Thieme 1901 to the underside.

 

Condition

Please note, the two longest edges of the centerpiece show signs of restoration. Otherwise having marks and surface scratches consummate with age and use. One of the restored edges has broken off, but we have the piece. RB 3-29-17
