DRESDEN, PORCELAIN, PORTRAIT PLATE EARLY 20TH C., DIA 10 1/8'':Painted at the well with a half-length portrait of a young woman with scroll, bordered in cobalt blue with fired gold; signed Werlich. On the reverse, entitled "Sibylle (A. Kaufmann)" and stamped "Dresden Germany" in blue along with gold overglaze decorator's mark (see photo).

Good condition. Elegant plate with heavy gold decoration.  Jw  The plate has two miniscule areas of gold loss at the top edge and bottom edge, each approx. 1/8". There is one minor scratch to the well, approx. 1/8".
