Du Pont of Nemours & Company Established 1802 Wilmington, Delaware, U.S.A.". The plaque on the top of the case reads "United States Standard No. 2 Blasting Machine, Will fire 1 to 10 Electric Blasting Caps, To fire draw this handle up until it stops then push down quickly with full force". The metal portion of the plunger is marked "D689". Lot includes an empty cardboard container for "Hercules Blasting Caps" and an empty tin container of the same company.
