DUTCH OIL ON BEVELLED WOOD PANEL, 1870, H 26", W 36":Depicting a married couple with accompanying friends and family. Signed and dated 1870 in the lower right corner (Dutch signature is partially illegible - see photo detail); H 25 3/4", W 35 7/8"; modern gilt frame.
With areas of craquelure about the piece. Ad (Additional condition info as viewed under UV light in the unopened frame: c. 10-13% spotty overpainting; horizontal crack in far center right; cracks and chips to frame; slight edge scarification to painting.)
