Hand carved open work frame, green velvet mat. 18" x 15". Ascribed to the artist E.K. Kaley on verso. The December 1891 issue of The China Decorator has an advertisement in the back for a "Mrs. E. K. Kaley Studio" located in Albany, NY. This work could possibly be that of this 19th c. American Female figural artist. Provenance: From the Estate of Leon Zielinski.
