A circa 1990 pure silk hand-woven Egyptian mat. The field offers a 'Tree of Life' motif surrounded in three main borders. Boasting ivory, taupe, and coral tones. Ends offer overcast salvage with knotted ivory tone fringe. Purchased from Sakkara Oriental Carpets in 1997.
