ELGIN 14 KT KEY WIND HUNTING CASE POCKET WATCH, C. 1869, DIA 54MM:Marked for B.W. Raymond (Benjamin Wright Raymond), Grade 69, Size 18s. Having a 15-jewel 18s-size gilded movement, with a white enameled dial and Roman hour numerals, housed in a Keystone "J. Boss" 14K gold-filled case decorated with a blank cartouche to front surrounded by scrolling foliate and C-scroll decoration, the verso with an exquisite stag's head surrounded by scrolling decoration en suite. Accompanied by a small key. Weighing a total of 137.6 grams.
Please note, DuMouchelle's does not guarantee working order. The glass covering the dial is missing, exposing the face and hands. With minor pin-hole sized areas of tarnish or discoloration throughout. The engraved case shows much wear, but this is consistent with handling and use.
