ENGLISH MAHOGANY & OAK UNDER-STRUCTURE GATE-LEG TABLE, 18TH.C. H 28", W 24", D 15 1/2":Opens to oval, square knees and round legs ending in a club foot. From an prominent Detroit etate, North Park Tower, Southfield.
With both leaves up the size of the table top is length 48" and width 45". When both of the leaves are down the size of the table top is length 15" and width 45".
There are three age cracks in the table top, but these cracks are NOT separating and do not detract from the integrity of the table. The cracks are approx. 9" , 7", and 8". At the outer edge of the table there is a gouge in the wood approx. 1/4" in diameter. There is a 4" long by 1/4" wide , wood repair at the interior edge of one leaf. The table top has areas of fading, as can be seen in the photos.
