ENGLISH QUEEN ANNE MAHOGANY CARD TABLE, 18TH C., H 29", W 34":Gate leg. Back legs swing out to support leaf. Having turret corners. Depth 16.5". Opens to square card table size, 33". Drawer in frieze. attractive shell carving on cabriole knees. From the collection of Dr. Marion Scott and Ann Scott, Grosse Pointe Shores.
Very attractive form. Nice old patina. Old repairs to strengthen hinges. (Two plugs at hinges). Two plugs or patches in leaf.
