ENGLISH TRIPLE FUSEE BRASS CATHEDRAL SKELETON CLOCK, 19TH C., H 21", W 13", UNDER A GLASS DOME:Pierced brass cathedral shape clock in the style of Westminster Abbey, triple fusee, drop hammer strike on eight bells, measuring H.21 3/8" x 13" x 6 1/2", having a 6" silvered chapter ring with incised Roman numerals, mercury pendulum and two keys, raised on a white marble base under a glass dome, H.27" x 16" x 9" overall. Labeled in two places at the front of the clock, "W. F. Evans & Sons, Fecit" and "Soho Clock Factory, Handsworth" (see additional photos).
Condition
The brass shows some wear to the patina. The marble base and glass are in good condition.
