Evelyn Brackett Raskin (American, 1922) Mixed Media On Paper, Self Portrait, H 13.5'' W 8'' Signed lower left. Evelyn Brackett (Raskin) was a Cass Corridor (Detroit) artist in the 1950's - 1970's. Frame Measurements H 21.25" W 15.25" Evelyn Brackett is still living at 100 years old in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was married in the early 1940's to Donald Brackett, who founded the Michigan Watercolor Society. They later divorced and Evelyn re-married to Dr. Henry Raskin in 1964. Evelyn studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the College for Creative Studies (formerly The Society of Arts and Crafts).
