She was married in the early 1940's to Donald Brackett, who founded the Michigan Watercolor Society. They later divorced and Evelyn re-married to Dr. Henry Raskin in 1964. Evelyn studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the College for Creative Studies (formerly The Society of Arts and Crafts). Provenance: Property from a Ferndale, MI private collector.
